Albert L. Berarducci, 87, of Plainville, died
early Saturday morning
at the Hospital of Central
Connecticut in New Britain. Born and raised in Plainville.
He was the youngest son of the late Josephine (D'Amico) and Peter
Berarducci.
He attended Plainville schools and graduated from the E.C. Goodwin Technical
School
before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.
Upon returning home he joined brothers Peter and Andrew and
together ran the B & L Tool and Machine Company in Plainville.
He worked there until retiring in 1989 as President.
He was a very active member of Our Lady of Mercy Church, the Retreat League
of the church
where he served a term as chairman and the AARP.
He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Third Degree.
Al traveled the world extensively with his wife for years and later in
retirement
enjoyed the many excursions that the AARP had to offer.
Nothing however could compare with the time spent in Old Lyme at White Sand
Beach where
he and his family enjoyed spending their summers for fifty-six years.
He was an avid Yankee fan and a devoted follower of UCONN men and women's
basketball.
Al is survived by his wife of 61 years Mary (Campagnano) Berarducci; three

Dr. Albert Jr. (Bert) and his wife Susan Berarducci of Upper Arlington,
Ohio, Joseph Berarducci of Farmington
