Emil Perschy of Plainville, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II,
died Wednesday. He was 77.

Born in New Britain, he was a member of
Our Lady of Mercy Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Perschy is survived by two brothers, Louis Perschy of Plainville &
Frank Perschy of Newington; a sister, Carol Taylor of Plainville;
and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Monday at 9 a.m. at

Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville.
A Mass will be said at 10 a.m. at
Our Lady of Mercy Church.

Burial will be private.
