Fernand was a very noble and handsome man, devoted to his wife and family.
He loved his extended family of in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews very much.

All of you made him feel very special with your frequent visits, card playing and note cards throughout the years.
He was a very proud American and served in the National Guard from 1950-1952.

He was a Fourth Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus and
a member of the American Legion and the Franco American Club.

He served as President of the French Model Club for 11 years,

He was a faithful member of Our Lady of Mercy Parish.
He retired from Connecticut Spring after 25 years of service.
Fernand was an avid fisherman, spending time in Sinclair, Maine on Long Lake
in the summer with his wife and children.

He was also known for making maple syrup and wood cutting.
He liked chopping wood with his grandson, Travis, hot on his heels.

When he could no longer fish, make maple syrup or drive he took up very serious card playing.
It became his passion and he enjoyed his French card playing for hours.

Many thanks to the compassionate staff at Apple Rehab in Plainville for making his residence
