Frank C. Ibitz, 81, of Farmington,
formerly of Plainville, died Monday, (Dec. 15, 1997).
He was the husband of Corrine (Daigneault) Ibitz for 58 years.
He was born in New Britain on January 20, 1916,
the son of the late Frank and Johanna (Judd) Ibitz.
He was a member of St. Patrick Church for over 32 years,
and was a former member of Our Lady of Mercy Church.
He was the co-owner of Plainville Precision Products
with his brother, Raymond since 1952, a former
member of Chippanee Country Club and was a
3rd member of the Rev. Gerald T. Corrigan Council No. 3544
of the Knights of Columbus for over 45 years.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Ronald E. Ibitz of Noblesville,
IN,
three brothers, Raymond Ibitz of Forestville, Robert Ibitz of
Plainville,
and Frederick Ibitz, Connecticut and Florida; three sisters,
Gertrude Ahlgren of Plainville, Freida Moran of Clinton,
and Johanna Mamonis of Plantsville; five grandchildren,
Jeffrey, Elizabeth, and Rebecca Ibitz of Southington, and Megan,
and Scott Ibitz of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
He was pre-deceased by his son, Francis C. lbitz and a brother,
Louis Ibitz. Funeral services will be Friday (Dec. 19), 9 a.m.
from Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville,
followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Patrick Church in Farmington.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Plainville.
Calling hours will be Thursday (Dec. 18), 6-8 p.m.
