Stanley Mikulak, 86, of Plainville, passed away on Thursday, (October 13, 2005) at Bristol Hospital.

He was the husband of the late Rita (Catucci) Mikulak for 60 years.

Stanley was born in New Britain on April 6, 1919, one of ten children
to the late Stanley and Alexandra (Gondak) Mikulak.

He was the former co-owner and operator of Plainville Radio and Television on
Whiting St. along with his brother-in-law, Tom Catucci for over 20 years.

He was a World War II veteran and served his country in the
U.S. Army as a cook and heavy artillery weapons operator.

He was a member of the American Legion, and
the Knights of Columbus - Gerald T. Corrigan Council 3544.

He had a love for fresh-water fishing, and was proud of his many trophies.
He looked forward to his annual trip to Lake George with his son-in-law, Rocky,
a tradition that spanned over 15 years.

He was a dedicated member and volunteer at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Plainville.

He was a kind-hearted man, with a sense of humor that will be missed by all who knew him.

Stanley leaves his two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Edward Hill of Bristol and JoAnn and
Edward Beaudoin of Southington; his grandchildren and their spouses, Michael and Beth Hill of Plainville,
Laura and Richard Carter of Bristol and Brian and Fiona McAllister of Southington; along with five great-grandchildren
Rachel and Nicholas Hill, Adam and Katherine Carter and Samantha McAllister.

He also leaves his brothers, Frank, Joe, Ted, Al and Edward Mikulak; his sisters, Joan Osak and Irene Squires;
and several nieces and nephews. Stanley was predeceased by his brother, Casimer Mikulak and his sister, Lucy Janowski.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 18, at 9 a.m. from
Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville,

followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at
Our Lady of Mercy Church Plainville.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 p.m.
