Stanley J. Mills, 90, of Plainville passed away on Wednesday (April 30, 2003).

He was the beloved husband of Mary (Corrigan) Mills.

He was born in New Britain on September 5, 1912, son of the late Albin and Katherine (Krick) Mills.

Stanley was the owner and barber of East End Barber Shop  on Linden Street, Plainville
from 1939 until he retired and sold the shop to his son, George, in 1976.

He was an avid golfer, and a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church, the Knights of Columbus
and the Royal Order of Redman, all of Plainville.

In addition to his wife, Mary, he also leaves four children, George Mills of Plainville,
Eileen and husband, Robert Morgan of Longmeadow, MA, Philip and wife, Karen Mills of Newington,
and Alan Mills of Plainville; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Sandra Mills; a brother and three sisters.

Calling hours will be Friday, TODAY, 6-8 p.m. at the
Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville.
Funeral services are Saturday, 9 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a

Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at
Our Lady of Mercy Church, Plainville.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Plainville.
