Francis "Duke" LeDuc, born on September 11, 1929, died August 6, 2018, the
youngest child of Helene and Aldement LeDuc. He is predeceased by seven
siblings.
His favorite activity was being a member and supporter of the Plainville Choral
Society. He also enjoyed golfing and woodworking. He was an avid Boston Red Sox
fan.
He is survived by his daughter, Paula and her husband, Jim, his son, Gary, his
daughter, Cheryl, his daughter, Danielle and her husband, Luis, and his son,
Marc and his wife, Lisa. In addition, he leaves twelve grandchildren, Wendy,
Nathan, Samantha, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Monica, Kurtis, Nicole, Tony, Marcus,
Andrew, and Brendan. He also leaves ten great-grandchildren, several nieces and
nephews, and sister and brother-in-law's. Dear to Duke were his friends, Earl
and Joan Varney, Mal Cummings, and Deacon Bob Berube.
Services will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018, with visiting hours from 9 to
11 a.m., at Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad Street, Plainville, CT., followed by a
Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 94 Broad
Street, Plainville, CT. Burial will be held privately at a later date. For more
