Mr. Wayne Soucie, 46, of Plainville Passed away Friday February 28, 2014 in his sleep. He was the husband of Lisa (Boilard) Soucie. Wayne was born March 5, 1967 in Hartford, a son of Malcom H. and Martha (Cyr) Soucie and was a longtime Plainville resident. He was a 1985 graduate of Plainville High School where he was a member of the swim team and was also a graduate of N.E.T.T.S. Prior to becoming disabled due to an injury he had worked as a truck driver for many years and was also a certified E.M.T. He loved fishing, hunting, riding dirt bikes and the outdoors with his son Justin. He was also an avid New England Patriots fan and enjoyed bowling. Besides his wife and parents, he leaves his son Justin, 29 of Plainville, his brother Bruce of Plainville, his nieces, Melissa, Hanna and Lyvia, his godparents, Richard and Joan Ayotte and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Gary. Family and friends may gather at the Bailey Funeral Home 48 Broad Street in Plainville on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Our Lady of Mercy Church 94 Broad Street at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held privately. |
